Operator Debrief

Overview

Giordano Automation Corp.’s Operator Debrief product is generically applicable to any system.  It uses the Diagnostician for fault isolation but also augments that capability with filtering and analysis of erroneous or conflicting BIT/sensor data and false alarms.  The software uses BIT and flight data to filter and group faults into “anomalies”.  The “anomalies” are presented to the pilot for confirmation and comments.  Next, the “anomalies” are provided to the Diagnostician which isolates the faults to O-level replaceable units or to the appropriate O-level troubleshooting procedures required.  All faults and maintenance tasks are reported to the maintenance information system or IETM.  Recurring fault logic is used so that duplicate maintenance tasks are not created thereby streamlining the maintenance workload.  The Operator Debrief software performs up-front data analysis and filtering and begins the maintenance process at the correct level of indenture.
