Use of a Hot Mock-UpMany factories are implementing hot mock-up test strategies. In hot mock-up test strategies, the test environment and the actual tests are generated by the UUT's next higher assembly level, so modeling and simulation is generally not required. This strategy provides great go/no-go results, but no diagnostics. However, since the tests and tests environment are generally predefined, the job becomes one of translating the tests into the Diagnostic Profiler, thus providing diagnostics. |
