A-10/KC-135 Turbine Engine Monitoring System (TEMS)

Test Program Sets (TPS)

A proof-of-concept of Diagnostician impact on test program sets (TPS) proved dramatic improvements to TPS run-time, diagnostic accuracy, and quality on the A-10 and KC-135 Turbine Engine Monitoring System’s (TEMS) depot test programs.  The result of this proof of concept is a contract to re-engineer all of the TEMS TPSs to include the Diagnostician.  Additionally, the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) and Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) testers will be networked and software written to enhance the vertical testability and commonality of test results between the LRU and SRU testers.   The results of the proof of concept are provided below.
